The Villa

On entering the villa you get a feeling of space. On the first floor there is an open plan lounge that leads out onto the pool terrace, Separate dining room that has a French balcony over looking the pool. An arch way takes you through to the separate kitchen with its own balcony, one of the double bedrooms that has its own balcony and the main bathroom which has a corner Jacuzzi bath (with side seat and shower) as well as a shower cubical.

Upstairs you will find, another open plan seating area, the family shower room, 1 en-suite bedroom with a balcony, 2 twin bedded rooms one of which has a balcony and the family bedroom, which shares its large balcony with the seating area. All the balconies offer lovely views.

The pool terrace is equipped with sun loungers parasols etc Wrought iron steps lead down to a lower patio area complete with built in BBQ, and the gardens.
There is a further patio area on the other side of the house. Please note that to make your holiday as safe as possible a gated wrought iron railing has been put in place around the covered section of the terrace.

For the younger members of your party we have supplied a travel cot with bassinet, high chair, stair gate and all terrain 3 wheeler pushchair (subject to condition it is left in by previous user (tyre punctures etc)) if you require them..

The Area

Just a short walk from the villa is the traditional village of Uzumlu where you can buy local produce. There is also a post office, restaurants, wine bar, and a local market on Fridays.

The village of Uzumlu is one of spectacular natural beauty, set in a valley surrounded by dense pine forests rugged hillsides and fields of cotton, sesame, aniseed, wheat, barley and a variety of vegetables as well as apples, grapes, almonds, pears, figs and olives . At the start of the season the poppies and other wild flowers fill the meadows with an abundance of colour. It is 500m above sea level which means the cooling mountain breezes are perfect for when the local temperatures soar in the summer months. The area is steeped in history and is ideal as a base to explore the countryside including the hilltop Roman city of Cadianda approx 20mins away.
If you prefer more choice then Fethiye is just twenty minutes drive away Here you will find bustling shops a harbour museum and the large Tuesday market.
The nearest beach to Uzumlu is at Calis It is a quiet yet busy holiday resort with a seemingly endless beach the shoreline is 6km long and is a significant nesting place for turtles A good selection of bars and restaurants line the promenade Water taxis run regularly between Calis and Fethiye Harbour.
Slightly further away are the ancient ruins and unspoilt 20km beach of Patara and also Salikent Gorge famous for Rafting.

The international airport of Dalaman is approx 45 mins away.
We recommend you hire a car, but the local public transport into Fethiye is fairly cheap and regular.
