Enjoy the pleasure and independence of renting our two bedroom home. Hodgesview Cottage is our personal residence that we rent to visitors when we are not in Dominica. It is built on a hillside with a stunning ocean view to the east and mountains to the west. The house is located on a private road that leads to jungle trails. The property has off-road car parking if you wish to have a rental vehicle. 

Each bedroom has its own bathroom with hot water shower. Linnens and towels are supplied.

The kitchen is complete with dishes, cooking utensils, fridge and stove. 

We are within walking distance of beautiful beaches, hiking trails, and unique photo opportunities. The Village of Calibishie is approximately 15 minutes walking time along a main road where you can find restaurants, groceries, a Credit Union, Post Office, and shops. A PADI Dive center is located in the town of Portsmouth approximately 20 minutes driving time away.

No matter if you bike or hike, Dominica can provide interesting and challenging trails, roads and pathways to explore. ( you must bring your own bike ). We maintain a list of competent local guides you may employ to assist you with such adventures as a hike to the Boiling Lake. 

Our property manager lives within sight of the house and is available 24/7 for assistance and advice. Rental is based on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. A special rate will be applied for a visit four weeks or longer.

We request a 50% deposit to confirm a booking and the balance is to be paid upon arrival.  In the event of a cancellation we will refund the deposit if the house is re-rented.
